    The first time I became aware of Pearl was during that NCAA Tournament run he made with Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and all of the tear-jerking stories about how his career was set back because of his commitment to the truth and exposing Illinois in the Deon Thomas “scandal”.

    It really makes me laugh to think back on that crap now.
