This is classic.
When Kwame Geathers went to get his hair cut last Friday in Athens, his barber congratulated the Georgia nose guard for making the Southeastern Conference’s All-Freshman team.
That was news to Geathers.
“Really?” Geathers asked. “OK. Well, thank you.”

Wouldn’t you like to think that one of the coaches would tell him? Who’s running that joint?

Apparently, he couldn’t believe it either.

Somebody already said it but Kwame didn’t even make Rodney Garner’s All-Freshman team.

The Robert Geathers story repeats itself. As we know, Robert didn’t play much and turned pro early (against the advice of … everyone). After a couple seasons got a $33 mil+ contract. Won’t surprise me if Kwame leaves after next season when he’s eligible to turn pro. Seems to me the kid performs when given the chance to play.

+1 Rodney Garner has a habit of playing his favorites whether they are good or not. I was one who LMAO at Robert leaving early only to be watching him start at DE for an NFL team for years. Could be Rodney just sucks as a position coach or was it Fabris’s fault.
