Blah, blah, blah.

Proving he’s a glutton for punishment, Allen Kenney has me back on a podcast to discuss post-spring practice Georgia football.  I doubt you’ll hear anything earth-shattering from me, but at least you’ll know what I sound like after some Phil Collins bumper music.

Mitchell, who will have to be healthy both ways and who represents a team dependency, will get favored athlete status until after the Mizzou game and until Grantham can get his 1st D on the field after suspensions. Does anyone think this may affect team solidarity by creating “star cluster” jealousies?

Good job of getting all salient team considerations in a 15 min podcast without overemphasizing or overhyping needy areas. Kudos on “Wait until Fall Practice” for better answers that encompass Freshmen playing in the SEC. Thought you both played off each other well in order to get all the concerns and accolades for team groups out there.

I still maintain that Tavarres King will take the angst off the missing Mitchell WR position. Past Mizzou, I don’t see the same QB/WR opponent combo requiring his dedicated presence. And when we need quick and long strikes to put points on the board, having King and Mitchell simultaneously in O plays will reduce pressure on Murray because opponents wouldn’t dare bring the farm.

If opponents don’t know to blitz our young offensive line on Bobo’s “first & bomb”, then they’re just not reading our blogs!

Oh to see the re-emergence of the bubble screen this season.

/#not in the arena…should not offer play-calling advice.

Was trying to prop up the Tavares King comment, but if you think I have “play-calling advice”, I’m almost flattered out of my ignorance.
