Watching Spurrier throw in the proverbial towel is always enjoyable, but a fight on the Gamecock sideline? Now there’s an added bonus.
My only regret is that I didn’t see it when it was happening. Good times.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Coach Mark Richt has lost control of the South Carolina sideline. There must be consequences. Give me a little longer and I’ll figure out how this is Bobo’s fault.

Loved the comment posted with the picture on SI, “Are we supposed to know who Clownney is?”

“At least they cared.” said Spurrier when asked about the fight…I wonder if that, caring, is unusual in Columbia.

Scorp..I can tell you this…Before Saturday, people in Columbia and all across that small wasteland to the east of Eden had not a care in the world outside of which gin-house they would park in to watch J. Clowney and the boys dismantle Georgia. Never have so many been so disillusioned about a flock of poultry. SOS may have expected it would be a war, but the average sacarlinien was shocked. Whatever those coaches were fighting about, Georgia’s performance was fuel on the fire. It was a wonderful day all-round.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was sos’s last game in Athens, so sending him off with a loss is icing on the cake.

Tough weekend for defensive coaches. Like the poor SOB at Texas who got canned on Sunday after the BYU blowout. Anybody ever remember that happening so early and so abruptly in a season?

I remember Dawg fans drinking the Manny Diaz kool-aid and wanting him in Athens. Nor sure how much of the Texas defensive malaise was his fault but that team quits often.

It’s a shame those Texas fans don’t have Bobo to blame for their defensive woes.

That was the worst defense I’ve seen and that includes Willie’s worst. Texas returned 9 starters. I think Mack is gone after this year.

I’m certainly not the first to mention this, but it’s nearly time to start the clock on the Muschamp job watch. Gator fans are known for jumping off the bandwagon rather quickly.

I can’t stop watching that video. It pleases me to no end. You just know every Carolina fan was just dying a 1000 deaths every time we picked up the 1st down on our last drive.

I live in Greenville last week and the SC fans were crowing about the Clemson win and acting like they had already beaten us. They didn’t mention the game at all SUnday at church. I had Clemson fans congratulate me on he game and how well we played. It is nice to have the cockiness gone.

Go back and watch the TV copy or get the replay. It’s much better seeing the whole thing unfold, and in HD. The clips don’t do it justice.
