“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
‘Kiffin don’t know’, Lee said. Jeeze. Think he’s lost the team already? Certainly sounds like it.

Junior is soon to be pumping gas or inexplicably hired as the next coach of the New England Patriots.

U beat me to it B. You just forgot that he will get the Texas gig for a few years first before replacing Belichick.

Looks like the results of the “Tightest Spinchter” poll are telling. Kiffen’s rise to coach elite football programs remains a mystery to me. The AD’s and presidents that hired him must be as empty headed as he is.

This seems to support the notion that Junior’s sphincter isn’t the tightest simply because he is oblivious.

Kiffin should have the decency to leave in the middle of the night.

If they lose too many more like the one to Washington State, there’s no doubt he’ll be on the beach in mid-season.

I like it when they run them out of town on a rail….

Lot tougher to run the team without dad doing it for you

I saw a picture yesterday from the USC campus. It was a parking lot with the red outline next to a building that said “FIRE LANE”. Someone had painted Kiffin in red at the end of it. I’m too old and not computer literate enough to post a link or the picture. It was genius!

Love the comments. Best one was how it was a good thing Kiffen hasn’t burned any bridges so he’ll have a good job network.

It’s a mystery how he gets these gigs. USC is paying him 4 million a year. Go figure. He must take that bride of his along on the interviews.

Silas Redd sure knows how to pick ’em. Maybe he can be an investment advisor when his playing days are done.

Remember Kiffen fired his own father. And his father was the only damn reason he ever got to be a coach in the first place.

I wonder what the holidays are like around that family.

Not bad. Layla carries out the turkey who then says the blessing. Because it was a case of friendly fire, Monte was only winged and is now co-starring in Dallas

He gets hired because of pretty wife.

He should call Franklin at Vandy if the USC thing doesn’t work out. I hear that plays well in the interview to be on Franklin’s staff.
Of course, Franklin could be replacing him at USC.

USC oughta put her on the sideline with a headset and Lane in a miniskirt and see if their fickle fair-weather fans notice.

If his wife leaves him he can’t get any kind of a job.

ESPN would give him a gig and treat him like the “genius” he think he is.

You know, there is a theory out there that Kiffin was hired to take the hit fore the NCAA probation and was always going to be fired. That would explain a lot. Let the Laner coach a with a team that has 65 or whatever players, lose the games they are going to lose, then when the school comes off probation and can get back to full strength fire him and hire the “savior.” Makes sense if you think that the coaches they really should have wanted wouldn’t take the job when it was so encumbered. Now that the Southern Cal is unencumbered and a very attractive job they should be able to take their pick when before no good coach would want to risk it.
