This is how we motivate fans in an era when TV calls the shots.
Believe it or not, those were back-to-back in my Twitter feed this morning.
I think I’m gonna roll over and go back to sleep now.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Couple things. 1) black jerseys for ULM is about as chicken $#!+ and dumb as it gets. 2) I expect troubles in the kicking game again.
Go Dawgs!

Hey Dipstick, why don’t you go to Atlanta and cheer for the friggin nerds

Why would I do that? What…35 mph wind gusts won’t affect the kicking? Are you gonna have the same reply to every other Georgia fan who agrees about the black jerseys for this game, tough guy? Lmao

Should have saved the black jerseys for Tech. It just doesn’t feel right against ULM at a noon kick off. Maybe it’s just me…

Meh, I don’t really like alternate uniforms so wearing them now is fine by me.
Although of all the alt-uniforms, black jerseys are the least offensive to me.

Very poor choice of games for black jerseys. For me night games are best for the black out just adds to the all day fun. You do remember when we were allowed to play after dark. The only thing worse today would be black helmets. Leaving now best wishes to all in North Georgia its smokie even here in Alpharetta this morning.

Hell, I can piss out my back door on the not great state of Floriduh and it’s been smokey down here all week. At least when we had the Okefenokee fires a few years back, we didn’t send the smoke up to y’all. Put them things out already!
Have fun, Scuba. I like a blackout no matter what time of day Mickey tells us we can kick off. At least it ain’t them Power Ranger bloodclot unis we got our asses kicked in by Boise.

Those weren’t Power Ranger uniforms – they were Ultraman uniforms we got our asses kicked in.
I’m showing my age to anyone who even remembers Ultraman.

They were an abomination. I hope those were burned. Black jerseys are tolerable, and the only good feeling I have about red pants is Herschel running over Bill Bates in Knoxville.
We have one of the best looking uniforms in football. No need to mess with it. If the players like something special, give them special t-shirts to wear under their jerseys.

Still not sure why folks have an issue with the black jerseys…just a note, it is not for the fans..

Don’t think they are against the black jersey’s as much as the choice of games to use them. And I agree with them.
Guess it will tale a long time to dig ourselves out of this noon time hole. The combination of bad home scheduling and Adams/McStupid rolling over on playing later in the day has become ingrained in the SEC office because we are the ionly school that doesn’t resist. Sucks for the program and it won’t change soon.
Speaking of times for games, what the hell was CBS doing with the TN/Mizzou time and why didn’t they change it when the Florida/LSU fiasco occurred? Hate that we overlay the game from Red Stick, the 3:30 slate looks very weak.

I think SEC Network gets thrown a bone every once in awhile with the first pick of games.

Kirby not a “fake juice” guy….will never see THE BLACK in a big game.
As we become relevant again, the nooners will dissipate thanks in part to TV demand.
I think I heard that Foley dictated during negotiations with LSU that the game be played early (to take the crowd out of the game v. liquored up coon asses later in the day/evening). We all know it’s tougher to play in the REAL Death Valley after dark!

Gawd that cannot be unseen. Why’d you make me look at that man’s puss this early in the morning?

Am I wrong or did all the home games start at 1:00 PM before TV starting calling the shots?

That’s my memory too. Sanford Stadium didn’t even have lights until 82. Got ’em specially for the Clemson game.

Ugh! Like Breakfast at Wimbledon. But I would do it if I lived out West, just wouldn’t like it as much. Not hard for me to watch early but getting up early enough to attend that early and tailgate before is just a simple “no”.
