Underwhelming

I’m not saying this was a metaphor for South Carolina’s spring game…

… but it wasn’t that far off, either.

There were some entertaining moments, but I saw a lot of defensive miscues, too.  I do think the hurry up offense the ‘Cocks are installing benefits Jake Bentley, which no doubt is a large part of why they’re doing it, but I can also see Boom’s blood pressure rising the first game South Carolina plays against a decent defensive team that can force a few three-and-outs.

I dunno, maybe they’ll have the kinks worked out by September.

I would be pleased if it is a metaphor for South Carolina’s 2018 season.

And a partial sell out crowd of 258 people were there to see it! But, this is so USCe.. as that asshole Spurrier quit on them in the middle of the season and they welcome him back like a conquering hero..

The oafishness of not including the QBRs is just not to be tolerated.

What little I saw looked discombobulated.

I feel SC is closer to the 4th or 5th toughest game we will play this year than the most difficult (as many are predicting). Believe they will finish 3rd or 4th in the East, but it is way too early to rank the games for all of us at this point. Saw nothing on Saturday to change that but who knows, we may look like a warm mess ourselves in 3 weeks.

Anyone who thinks SC is going to be tougher than playing in Red Stick (more than likely at night) has an opinion which should not be valued too highly.

Why is Steve Spurrier at their spring game? And why are they welcoming him with open arms? I get that he’s their greatest coach in school history. But he also quit on them in the middle of a season, which they evidently forgave him for because they offered him a fundraising and development job which he accepted… until he left to accept the same kind of gig at Florida. It’s certainly understandable that he’d want to go back to Florida, so I get why the feelings wouldn’t be all that hard. But Florida is a division rival. They are the enemy. And he’s working for them.

Because Chomp is an ex Florida coach, Lou Holtz is a 110 and Brad Scott coaches at Clemson.. And there was no one else.

They announced a crowd of 25k, which is akin to us announcing a G day crowd of 158K. I personally was less than impressed with them, but I’m sure they’ll play the game of their lives against us this fall.

Spurrier was only there because he’ll be at Augusta the rest of the week. USCe still loves him like an abused wife…it’s their fault he left for lack of winning, not his.

Is Bryan McClendon an up-tempo-offense guy?

Since when? Am I missing something?

Speaking of USCe offensive coordinators, what’s Boom got against Kurt Roper?
