“Mr. Graham was intoxicated and celebrating being eligible to play college football again.”

Lt. Bender: GIVE THE BAG TO BOZO, DROP THE GUN, AND PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR.
Earl Mott: Who said that?
Lt. Walters: This could very well be the stupidest person on the face of the earth.

The torch has been passed, I’m afraid.

  1. A former student — who got booted last year — who isn’t even enrolled? Non-story.

  2. It’s not an FSU story… just a general stupidity story. 😉

  4. It’s from an ’80s movie called Ruthless People. Definitely worth seeing if you haven’t caught it before.

I haven’t seen nor thought about this movie in a long time. Didn’t it also star Helen Slater (of The Legend of Billie Jean fame) and Bet Midler? Bet Midler plays Danny Devito’s wife who is kidnapped by Judge Reinhold (a.k.a Billy Rosewood) and Helen Slater’s characters and held for ransom. If I’m remembering it right. It’s a good movie. Anybody with netflix should give a shot.

Anyway, sounds like Mr. Graham’s celebration was just a bit premature. He was not yet reinstated to the team nor the university. I wonder convicts celebrate being “eligible” for parole?

  6. dean, good memory. It’s directed by the guys that were responsible for Airplane.

Plus, Mick Jagger sang the theme song.

Senator, don’t even get me started on Airplane. That’s one of my all time favorites. There are more classic one-liners in that movie than any other.
