Tennessee football cast as a bad horror movie.

Three days after being reinstated to the team by Derek Dooley, Marlon Walls went down yesterday with an Achilles tendon injury.

So much for this:

Dooley said he didn’t expect any players to miss a game in connection with the incident…

Once again, karma proves to be a bitch.

Personally speaking, if I were Da’Rick Rogers, I’d be stepping carefully now.

I hope Rambo levels Day Rick the first time he comes across the middle.

15 yards but well worth it.

D Dooley is dead to me. I hope we beat him like a rented mule. We won’t of course because CMR would not embrass Vince but I really wish we would light them up.

First reports had Da Rick at the center of the bar fight, hitting the officer (who went to the hospital with a head injury) and underage drinking. I understand the legal limit is 18 in Tenn, but exactly what are the results of all those charges?

What is the status of police dept. charges that were forthcoming from this incident?

What is the status of the NCAA investigation concerning the PC privileges afforded college football players drinking in bars with no cover charge levied?

Did I miss several days of info here or did this get hushed up? Was Da Rick involved as first reported or was it misID or lack of witnesses? If the latter, then who leveled the charges in the first place? Why wasn’t there a follow-up explanation?

Has Dooley already stooped under his own “discipline” rules or do accused felons get stadium-step gassers while society bends its rules in step with the University and the NCAA? It’s really strange to me that Da Rick doesn’t get mentioned after two players are dismissed and two players are reinstated. If he has been disciplined, what were his transgressions in the University’s eyes?

Cojones, you can bet the whole thing was fixed. UT got to the witnesses and the KnoxVegas PD put pressure on the off-duty officer to STFU (probably a carrot and stick thing). Without witnesses and a complaining party any criminal case goes away. See Jackson, Michael (pedophile charges.)

I hope all of you get off the Derek Dooley bandwagon now. Now, maybe you”ll all realize that he is the UT coach, and as such, a scumbag
