Uh, Coach Dooley, were you not paying attention when some of your players started a preseason bar brawl and ended up beating an off-duty cop unconscious? You are on record as saying that you had to teach your players how to cleanse themselves properly in the shower, and yet you think they’re OK out on their own after midnight in seedy Knoxville, Tennessee?

UT players make a shocking habit of beating other human beings while they are on the ground (after they knock them there) and nothing happens.
UF players threaten the lives of others by shooting assault weapons or direct threats, and next to nothing happens.
The next person who says CMR has a discipline issue on his team needs to realize that our fan base has the bigger problem.

Handle it internally = extra conditioning work for your player.
Your player becomes stronger and better and it doesn’t damage your team in the same way as giving your player a few days off.
Frankly, it’s none of our business how a coach disciplines his player.
