A 6-7 hr drive for UGA fans/Gator fans drive an hour..not a neutral site in my mind. I think you are on to something. Let’s get them game up to Columbus that would truly be a “neutral” site. Lol

I agree. Has the extra drive time for UGA fans made us lose the party? Is the football team thrown off by their concern for the hardship on the fanbase? The Cocktail Party disadvantage comes from teams that go down there hoping to win, instead of expecting to win. UGA regularly beat Florida teams with higher rankings and deeper/more talented rosters in the 70s and 80s because they didnt pay any attention to rankings, who had the longest bus ride, or other hype; they just went down there expecting to kick Florida’s ass.

There is more to the State of Georgia than I-285. Go attend a Golden Isles Bulldog meeting, or try and talk a little bit of pigskin down in Valdosta… plenty of UGA fans below the gnat line

I’m not so sure. I’m no fan of Corch, but I spect he’ll run through that conference like a knife through hot buttah. The fact that he’s already russelling feathers on the recruiting rules of the gentleman’s club is an early indication that he’s bringing a lotta vinegar to the Big Integer.

Aren’t the mighty Buckeyes 0 and 14 against the SEC? I seem to recall THE Ohio Sate lost in warm weather against UGA in the then Citrus Bowl game in 1992.

I think moving the cocktail party to Columbus is a good idea. It is only about an hour from here and Southwest Ga. needs the money. The stadium will need a hell of a remodeling job though. It’s too small. That’s why they made the AU game a home and home. Wait a minute, you are talking about Columbus Ga. right? Ya’ll aren’t trying to fool me again are you? Like when they said the Russians had invaded Georgia and I loaded all my shit and stayed awake three days waiting for the slimy bastards. Stay awake three days and you see Russians everywhere!
