Looks like Todd Gurley’s made an impression on Bruce Feldman.
Georgia 23, Missouri 21: Even though the Dawgs are under .500 away from the Athens the past two seasons and missing some key players on D, look for Murray and Gurley to spark Georgia and for the Georgia pressure to rattle the Tigers.
Aaron’s had a couple of seasons to build a rep. Sure hasn’t taken Gurley that kind of time. And, no, I don’t remember the national press being that respectful of Crowell as soon.
We are also Mandel’s upset special…

“Upset” …. that’s good! The media believes what is convenient to believe.

His defensive pressure call rings out to me. I believe J.Jenkins (mostly Big Bad Jon…but perhaps Jordan, too) will be coursing through that patchwork OLine all through the night.

It’s all about 1st impressions.
One held up a puppy; the other looked like a freight train on ice skates going 100 yards on a kickoff return.

That’s funny right there.

23? How do you get to 23? Three TDs and a safety? Two TDs, a missed extra point and a FG? Two TDs and three FGs?
I don’t like his spread. Couldn’t he at least given us 24?

Something tells me (like his 1st attempt last weekend) Morgan is not up for 3 FGs quite yet.

If you recall Georgia’s red zone performance from last year, 2 TDs and 3 FGs doesn’t seem that farfetched.

I’m curious what Murray’s “rep” currently is?

Clearly, Feldman watched Gurley score the winning TD on the EA Sports preview. The article wrote itself.

Wow. Guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
I just don’t see it. For me, he’s always been good not great. Good numbers but for every great play there is a bad decision. Maybe I’m just too focused on his lack of big wins over Top 20 teams.

I think that Woot, Bennet, Conley and Brown will be capable and produce the atmosphere to win a la King.
I also think that the O weapons shaped and produced by that famous O Coach, Mike Bobo, will put enough points up to let the D hold them by the nose (tackle) for the win.
This game will lie squarely on the D.

Herbstreit picked us too. And he also made his case about Gurley getting the ball a bunch in Columbia. Wild.
