Don’t cry for me, Athens.

Speaking of SEC schedules, if you think the Dawgs have it tough early on, check out what Ole Miss and Tennessee face before October’s over.

UT’s looks particularly brutal.  As Aschoff notes, the Vols could be playing five top-10 teams in 42 days.  I guess we’ll see how Jancek earns the big bucks.

TN is 0-4 in their most recent games against the PAC12, looks like Spetember 14 could be anoher ugly loss for them. I know the recruiting strategy was to get exposure in other areas, seems to be backfiring since they lost their lucky horeshoe and made two horrible coaching hires. I love seeing them down, and hope they remain a middle of the pack SEC team forever because they had gotten way above their raising. They have been more successful than us in getting some interesting OOC games scheduled, they just need to show up now.

“they had gotten way above their raising”…….thanks for that. Took me down memory lane to my grandfather’s farmhouse with three fireplace and a large rambling veranda with porch swings. As for Tennessee, I never could cotton to their fan base.

You’re welcome Son. We must be related, those farm houses with big porches and swings at my grand parents were a part of my early years too.

In another interesting UT note, the Feebs and the IRS locked down Pilot’s Knoxvegas HQ for at least one whole day…could be Big Vol Jimmy Haslam, not to mention the Gov, his own self, have some splainin to do.

Seems like some of their fuel customers don’t feel like the rebates have been applied correctly.

With the Gamecocks having us along with Florida and Clemson as their toughest games and with these games spread out during the season plus their Western division games being Arkansas and Mississippi State, maybe it’s time to start talking about how easy Spurrier has it this year. I’m sure he’d love to hear that.

He won’t hear it from Richt, who after film study, learned to never get involved in a quip war with Spurrier

Since their loss to Ark year before last ended up placing us in the SECCG, let’s hope Bielema continues the process. And let’s make sure we don’t give SC the game this year.
