Call their bluff.

I don’t know about you, but I’d love it to no end if this kid would accept one of his eight offers now, never grow another inch and hold the lucky winning coach to his promise of a scholarship.

Which is never going to happen, of course.  And which is why I’d love it even more if Andy Staples’ signing proposal became reality.

I have to agree with the Senator and Andy. It would be a simple fix for a lot of problems in recruiting.

It’s sick that college coaches have access to 14 year olds. But to address the Senator’s point, he’s already 6 feet tall, so unless he shrinks he’s probably in good shape to play at RB or LB in 4 years.

I don’t like colleges having access to 8th graders, should be only after their 10th grade year, IMO.

But, barring injury, this kid is going to be special. The only question is how big does he get. The bigger he gets, the more special he becomes.

Isn’t that what they said about Todd Marinovich?

I love Staples’ plan. I also would love it coaches had to sit a year if they left a school just like players.
