What can you say about a guy who managed to parlay the greatest loss in college football history into a deal that’s still paying him more money from Notre Dame than Brian Kelly received from the school after taking the team to the national title game?
Well, all I can say is that’s it’s a long way down from touting yourself as Mr. Decided Schematic Advantage to picking up flotsam and jetsam from the MAC.
Sadly, however things play out at Kansas, there’s likely another sucker waiting to take a shot with Weis.
Get The Picture 
As a Bulldog living in the northeast I am a big Patriots fan and I can tell you that Weis made his reputation by coaching under Belichick and having a Hall of Fame quarterback running his offense. Somehow Fat Charlie got the credit for the Patriots success despite the obvious fact that it was Belichick and Brady that were the key players. They didn’t miss a beat after Weis left. I am baffled as to how he continues to ride their success. Glad he got a year with the Gators though. I hated them already and he just added to it.

The fact that Weiss and Junior still seem to be highly regarded despite the dumpster fires that their careers are is simply stupefying. Apparently, these two interview well.
