Sear your retinas.

Gawd, this is hideous to behold:

The game wasn’t any prettier than the color coordination.

You’d think if the Oregon trainers washed their uniforms with too much bleach, they’d have the money to just throw them away rather than wear them, but who knows?

Who knew 2 that Tennessee football players are so susceptible to color suggestion …Jancek/Willie’s defenders having to spend most of the last three quarters in the head in reaction to the Ducks’ stinky old faded uniforms.

  2. Wow. You need a welding helmet to look at that.

Dang, wonder how many highlighters it took to color in each uniform?

I’ve never really understood the fascination some schools have with ugly colors. Orange is U-G-L-Y…maybe it’s a distraction or maybe they picked orange thinking they would be “unique”. It’s not…it’s about the most common team color in the South. And the Oregon uniforms would be nice on the airport ramp workers.

    • What is odd with UT is the fact that they don’t even attempt to match up their orange. The orange T and stripe on the helmet is creme-cicle orange and the pants and jersey fonts are DOT orange.

BTW. I wonder how Tennessee will respond to such an epic beatdown.
Will the team mail it in for the rest of the season? Will the stands be only half-full of hillbillys? Or will this game be a rallying point? It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens up thar in them hills.

Oregon’s bazillion uni combos occasionally wield a hit; this look was a gigantic whiff. But I guess the players can jog after dark now and not worry about getting hit by a car.

Does Worley have his eyes closed throwing that ball?

Why does the football have a ‘T’ on it?

Quarterbacks and kickers can have their own game ball as long as it conforms to NCAA standards. They are checked by officials before the game. Remember there was some controversy at USC and Barkley last season about his ball having been softened by a trainer on the sidelines during a game?

For the same reason the one Murray throws has a G on it.

My son and I couldn’t even watch this one. Not because of the beat down–not enough of an SEC homer to care whether the Vols are smeared all over the field or not, so long as we beat ’em–but we thought we were gonna go blind or start trippin’ so away we went. At least they weren’t playing on Boise State’s turf!
