Fitting tribute

Lots of emotion on display yesterday.  This may have been one reason for that:

Now we need to keep the intensity up. Can’t go out on the road and lay an egg in Knoxville, not even to a dumpster fire Tennessee team

I don’t have the energy to look it up, but didn’t we go to Knoxville after beating LSU in the not-to-distant-past.

Dig that tape out of the vault, there, Coach.

Good point. Richt did seem particularly on edge and emotional after the game.

Terrible to consider, but maybe life after football would have turned differently for PO had he managed the grades and stayed for his Sr. season. RIP, indeed.

No, it was not a fitting tribute. The man was selfish for taking his own life. He had a family that was relying on him to be the man of the house and take care of them. Now, what UGA should have done was honor his family for having to go through what they are going through with the selfishness of PO. Having a mother in law that went through this at a young age, who witnessed her fathers suicide on their front lawn, the kids will never recover fully from this. I am sorry he was going through whatever he was going through but suicide shouldn’t be an option especially if you have a family relying on you.
