While we’re on the subject…

Tracy Rocker talks about what sold him on coming to Georgia:

“What got me here was Jeremy Pruitt, just a conversation with him, talking about what he was looking for and he was trying to put together,” Rocker said. “He got me in front of Coach Richt, and we hit it off and saw eye-to-eye on some things and wanted to go in the same direction. And everything took care of itself from there.”

Hmmm.  I wonder if Nick Fairley’s name came up in the conversation.

Did Rocker coach Fairly? All I remember was Stooper Taylor jumping around liked an idiot waving a towel with his hat backwards.

That’s what past for coaching under the previous Auburn regime (Malzahn excluded / Van Gorder not excluded)

Damn right I do!!! Fairley became a beast under Rocker’s tutelage. CMR just needs to make it clear to Rocker not to allow his players to play dirty.

Not surprised you would endorse something like that. It must really piss you off that UGA doesn’t sell out on principles and ethics to “buy” a MNC. Most folks who feel like you are under the age of 25 and haven’t learned the lessons of life yet, but somehow I don’t think that excuse applies to you.

If we endrose/tolerate play as dirty as Fairley the Fairy, have thugs like Trooper on the sideline, we might as well be The aU, and because of that…..I’m out (or would be.)

You ARE out…of your mind, that is. What about “not to allow his players to play dirty” that I said in my post above do you not understand? Idiot!

Really hate to respond to this because it is obvious your reading comprehension is impaired. Taking it slow….the question was “you want guys like Fairley?”. That means all of him, not just the body but the total character, and you responded “damn right I do”. You don’t get him without the awful being he was: note his obvious relationship with Troopa, and his actions in the NFL. If you say you want a defensive player that can dominate the DL and crush the QB, we are all in favor. But when he comes with the “Fairley package”, no one does but guys like you. Rocker, and no other coach is going to get that our of him. Like a child who mutilates animals, this guy is rotten from the inside.

I would be careful about using the word idiot, you take way too many positions that fit that description to call anyone out. This is just another, the answer isn’t looking for a Fairley. Let the Barners bring in the trash.

Hail no. Some people struggle with the concept of playing with an edge without playing. UGA and Richt should have more integrity better than d’bags like Chizik and Meyer.

Given that Fairley’s reputation as a dirty player has followed him to the NFL, resulting in penalties and fines, I’m willing to give Rocker the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t instruct Fairley to be dirty.

One of the reasons this blog is The Best for UGA football is the lack of trolls. Can we go ahead and ban Gr yet?
