For those of you who think it doesn’t matter any more…

Nick Chubb knows Georgia Tech is a rival, damn it.

As the saying goes, revenge is a dish best served cold.  Here’s hoping it’s downright chilly in Bobby Dodd Stadium next November.

    Exterminate. With extreme prejudice.

Praying for that young man that he’s healthy when that game comes around next season … and that the O line does him and Sony a solid all year.

I’m praying for the Tech players that he’s NOT healthy. Those poor little bastards are in for it. Go Dawgs! Exterminate, indeed.

  4. I can’t believe it. Chubb, Michel, Carter and Bellamy are all returning. Way to go, Kirby.

For all of you who thought Chubb pouted all season and Michel was only concerned about his draft position, go ahead and admit that both of them are Damn Good Dawgs.

I believe that Chubb was pouting this season and I have said it here several times. I stand by my statement. I also believe the only reason he is returning because his draft status is so low. The kid was not the same back this season nor do I expect him to return to elite status again.

I always try and avoid confrontation on the internet, however, I will make an exception in this instance. This comment is such a steaming pile of horse shit. What was he pouting about? Having to come back from a serious knee injury? Not getting any blocking? If you have some sort of proof of his pouting/poor attitude please provide it. Otherwise takes this garbage and shove it up your ass. He may never be the same he was before the injury, but it won’t be because of effort, attitude or heart.

Danielson said that he seemed depressed when they had their team meetings during the Auburn game.

And anyone that REALLY knows anything about the NFL knows that unless you’re a once in a generation type back, you’re not getting drafted very high anyway (likely in the 2nd-4th), and that the second contract matters more than the first.

Even before Chubb got hurt, NFL teams liked him but he wasn’t viewed in the light of guys like Elliott or Gurley. He was viewed just a tier below that. Even if he averaged 5.5-6 YPC, he likely would have been a late first early second.

Chubb could’ve gone, been drafted in the 3rd round, proven himself, stayed healthy, and gotten a big contract after that hypothetically.

And if he hadn’t of gotten hurt, he probably would have been a mid to late first.

So the guy was a bit down during a meeting with the media? That’s the proof of him “pouting last season”? Septic Dawg is full of shit. I stand by my statement.

Just no. Any high achieving 4th year kid in any department on campus is every bit a professional as you in your career. His patience was wearing out, he’s angry with himself because as great a game that was, the O still couldn’t score. Get over yourself.

I hope Chubb goes for 250 against tech next year…in the first half.

Is there anything to tear up at George O Leary Field at Pepper Rodgers-Bill Curry-Bobby Ross-Chan Gailey Stadium/Land Fill?

Thought Sony might come back, Chubb is a complete shock given the previous injury. I too thought he just didn’t look that happy most of the year. Never doubted his toughness though.

SO Chubb is rolling the dice like Marshall in a way. And Sony if he stays healthy could work up the $ chain.
    Gurley 1st round guaranteed millions
    Malcomb M. 4th Signing bonus 200,000plus.
    4 yr contract 2.5 mill I n
    5th Marshall…4 yr deal close to M.M $$ but signing bonus 45,000.

Both are playing their senior year to get into that 2nd round !!!!
    Still serious money.
I really don’t know js …but it’s fun to speculate
And beat bugs at CMR Field. 😉

I said it after the game, I’d love to see our players run over to that piece of shit car and start tearing it apart after kicking their ass. It would be awesome to see Chubb walking off the field holding the horn over his head.

they could scrap it in the manner of Clyde scrapping the Caddy in Any Which Way You Can, one of Clint Eastwood’s most sublime performances. Clint played Philo Beddoe, a notorious street fighter, and Clyde was his best friend/wingman who happened to be an orangutan. Cruelly overlooked by Oscar, but an excellent film as the sequel to Every Which Way But Loose.

I do share in the doubt that Georgia’s offensive situation gets fully fixed (it’s a mess), so I’m not sure what Chubb is doing. I don’t think he puts up killer numbers but I do think they improve…
