Nick Saban isn’t man enough.

According to this Al.com writer, the reason Nick Saban didn’t mention Auburn in his list of conference schools gaining on Alabama is because he’s scared Auburn is already the best team in the SEC.

SEC Media Days sure bring out the media smarts, don’t they?

“Imagine Saban dressing down Alabama radio host Eli Gold at Bob’s Victory Grille in Tuscaloosa. You get the picture.”

  3. The media is building up Jarrett Stidham as if he’s $Cam, the GPOOE, and Matthew Stafford all rolled up into one. The last time they did that Jeremy Johnson flamed out spectacularly. Here’s to hoping it happens again. It couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch (other than WarD Eagle, of course).

This is a phenomenon I haven’t quite been able to wrap my head around. It doesn’t seem to matter who the Auburn QB is, but if he hasn’t had a chance to fail on the field yet, he’s automatically the Heisman favorite.

Gus inherited Miles’ mantle of “pre-season hype champ + late-season recovery to avoid the guillotine”. Stidham is the latest Saviour on the Plains – except B12 QBs make their living throwing to future NFL wideouts running around no-future-in-the-NFL DBs while never having to dodge future NFL front 7 types. Stidham was no exception.

Auburn is 6-6 to 8-4 this year.

He just thought they’d joined the Sun Belt Conference.

So by his logic South Carolina should win the east as Saban didn’t mention them either. This hack must want a job at the ajc.
