Today, in it takes a village

This is a pretty neat “welcome to the family, son”.

James Cook is visiting FSU this weekend, I hear, not good. If he flips to them, we don’t have a dynamic freshman RB suiting up next year, sure Swift, Holyfield, and Herrien should be okay but I’ve grown rather accustomed to our 5 headed monster, or at least a 4 headed one.

With an ACL tear, my guess is Zeus redshirts.

He is a hard worker like Chubb and Gurley but RBs can usually play the next year, just not at the level they were before the injury. He will miss spring, and most of summer workouts at best. He may play some but I would look at 2019 as the time to see him close to what we expected. Shame, he almost made it in at full strength, hope he fully recovers for his benefit alone, and we can get two full years of productivity before he leaves.

Not sure about Cook. If he has strong ties to Taggert he could go back to the Noles, but he knows he isn’t a runner capable of being over used to carry a team and FSU has done that before. I think it was a major reason he chose UGA in the first place, he saw how we worked multiple backs in the past.

Well, there’s that one guy…Zamir White. I mean, he’s just a five star and was rated as the number one RB in the country. His knee is going to be fine and have read that he would be ready by September.
