Right now, Vegas likes Georgia’s chances to return.
LSU at 12-1? That’s… interesting.

Michigan at 3 to 1? They lost 5 games last year and have been going backwards the last few years under Harbaugh. Hell, has he even won a big game yet?

I think this is the last year he gets the benefit of the doubt. If Michigan isn’t playing in the B1G championship game, I suspect he’ll be looking to jump ship. Kind of surprised he didn’t do it this year, but maybe the pro owners have soured on him, too.

If Gase lays another egg in Miami this year, look for the Dolphins to make a run at Harbaugh, if he has another lackluster year.

Michigan was terrible at QB last year and now they’ve got Shea Patterson. It’s going to make a huge difference in that team…if he stays healthy.

That just puts them in 20th place, and if the transfers work out I could definitely see them at 9-3 or 8-4. Guess Vegas likes an Urban-coached QB in that offense. Having a RB would tilt the scales more for me, so 8 wins seems more likely.

While I wouldn’t bet on LSU at those odds, they look like the biigest threat on our schedule to me. On the road, enough quality athletes to have a big game upset, and likely to be somewhat desperate at that point in the season. As you note, the transfers’ addition may them hard to evaluate with high confidence at this point. Wouldn’t want Orgeron roaming our sidelines but he can rally the players/fans in that neck of the woods (swamps). 8-4 or 9-3 looks like the ceiling but one of those wins will be an upset. Danger! Danger!

I agree Mac. LSU still has some athletes and as you say, Coach O can get them fired up. They will be fired up for this one. Since we haven’t been there in a while, I hope our players are ready for it.

Any list that doesn’t have South Carolina as odds on favorite to win the national championship cannot be credible.
