I guess this is what they mean about having short memories.

Shorter Jim Mora:  Recruits flock to me because I coached Mike Vick before he got caught playing with dogs.  Also, Bobby Petrino was a dick.

    I’m curious as to how many Georgians have committed to UCLA football in the last 10 yrs. USC gets it’s share, but the Bears not so much. Bet the kids get homesick when they hear the applause during the game. It approximates the largest crowd noise for a Georgia HS game. They have applause leaders, not cheer leaders.

    Do you really think he has a “pipeline” in this state?

    I remember Vick’s offensive performance dropped significantly under Mora. I also saw Mora make some game management decisions that make Les Miles look like a game management genius. I always liked Mora Jr. He’s usually a funny guy and he looks a lot like Captain Kirk. But I can’t say I was sad to see him leave Atlanta… until they named his replacement. But I’m personally much happier with how Mike Smith is running the team.

    What a prick. Jim, I don’t know why the Falcons haven’t won a playoff game recently, but it has nothing to do with the fact that Jim Mora, Jr. isn’t the head coach anymore. Call me crazy, but I’ll take a coach that doesn’t have to get instructions via cell phone during a game any day.

    Mora, Jr. was a good coach who got fired for reasons other than football. He said the wrong thing and pissed off the owner.
