If this comes to fruition, predict the year that Georgia State first recruits a better class than Georgia Tech.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I don’t think it will take long. I’ve thought since GaST started talking about football that it would not take long to overtake GT as the second biggest draw in the state. They don’t have the academic restrictions that GT has. They have a larger student body, which means a larger alumni base. And as the article pointed out, Atlanta is a big market, and will have no problem supporting 3 big teams. Hell, I’m a GaST alumni. And if I can get in there, so should the football recruits!

“alumnus” is singular, masculine. If you are female, it’s “alumna”. My high school Latin teacher would be proud of me for this post.

First off, at 6’6″ and 340 lbs, the plural form pretty much does apply to me. And also, that is just going to prove my point about the athletes being easily accepted to the school!

Yeah, but he does have a good point about his size and “alumni”. Wait a minute!. Did you happen to go to a Tech game and hide a burrito, two tostados and five tacos in your buttcheeks? This may be an alumna posting.

Doesn’t GSU use the anti-Johnson doctrine where they don’t want a recruit if the recruit talked to GSU first?

All kidding aside, GSU has a coach that could pull off the recruiting needs for joining those conferences. Most of them would come from about 15 blocks over. They could hand out interest leaflets at Tech’s campus entrance.
