Dawg in the hat

Here’s a plug for one of those “why didn’t somebody thing of this before?” items – Georgia hats with the design feature of being able to hold securely a pair of sunglasses.

It may be a little hard to tell from that picture, but the hat has side pockets which fit the earpieces and a ridge on the bill against which to set the frames.  (You can see how the glasses sit more clearly here.)  Anyway, it’s a good quality item that comes in four versions.  If it’s something up your alley, check it out.

And a brief shout out to Sawhorse is due for furnishing Hoppy with a bunch of these to pass out to folks after he subjects them to the Montana Project on Saturday.  Gracias, guys!

If only someone could invent something to attach to your sun glasses that would allow them to freely hang from the neck when not used.. what an invention that’d be.

Sorry.. couldn’t resist. I know croakies aren’t for everyone.

Senator – somebody somewhere already did. I’ve been to about 6-7 Braves games this year and that was actually one of the “first so-many fans” get this free. It’s pretty cool, although I don’t use it enough…rather have the Dawg version myself.

Not my thing. It has too much going on in my opinion.

It looks like something an Auburn fan would wear.

i’m with bobby cox on this. he never let his players wear their sunglasses on their bill, covering up the “A”. same applies for the “A” and the “G” for me.

    • I’m with you & Bobby on this one. Don’t care much about covering up the logo though. As far as I’m concerned, the sunglasses on the bill thing is right up there with jorts and the mullet.

Sunglasses should be on your face on in your pocket.

Lighten up guys. It is a great idea. Is this a great country or what?

With the black hat and glasses, it looks like a mini Darth Vader.

And what’s with the stinkin’ “great country” remark? Huh? Huh?

Waitin’ on the games to start sorta gets you off plumb. If they don’t start tonight, I’m taking three plastic bags with me when I walk the dogs.

That’s a neat idea. Now if only they made a hat big enough to fit my big ol’ pumpkin head without looking like a beanie, I’d buy one! :-)

  9. Spike

You got a problem with this being a “great country”? Huh?

May have to move to dillon Montana for work, so count one more G-recognizer in the Big sky country. On a side note, I threw my Georgia hat out of the window of my car driving through Montana upon conclusion of central fla debacle on satellite radio, sans sunglasses luckily.

Looks custom made for South Ga at the beach, although the black one might bake my brain{more}.

Now if they can just invent one that can hold your pi$$ at the tailgate…

For the strong and hearty, a bifurcated catheter with a bag on each ankle will get you through the gates. Might take 3 trips to the bathroom if you really pound them down at the tailgate. Fully reversible, you can fill the bags with beer and suck on the catheter, but I warn you; folks will think you are licking your balls every time you have a beer!
