This David Pollack observation about his college defensive coordinator gave me a chuckle:
“He does a good job of finding out how guys respond and knowing which buttons he can push,” said David Pollack, a three-time All-America linebacker under VanGorder. “He’s not going to call you out just to call you out if it’s not going to get the effect. He always used to tell Odell Thurman, because he came from a background where football was going to be his ticket for sure, you’re going to work at McDonald’s or own the McDonald’s. He always had the same energy. You knew what you were getting from him every single day, and you didn’t want to disappoint him.” [Emphasis added.]
It’s not exactly a pumping gas moment, but it’s from the same family tree.
If this doesn’t get the fans and team fired up for the game tomorrow night nothing will. Hope we come out hard and fast and don’t let up all. night. long.

After viewing that, I want a total shut down. Those dirty bastards. Auburn has always played some dirty football. DAWGS BLOW THEM AWAY.

Don’t need to see it. It’s locked into the hard part of the brain so that I will never forget it.

I hope Murray hangs a hundred on’em! Fairley needs to have his DNA checked b/c I think he might be the missing link! That get me so pissed off!

45-7 sure felt good last season. Especially when we only threw the ball twice after halftime.

Thurman is the example of why having a strict substance policy is beneficial to players in the long run… he essentially smoked and drank his way off the Bengals

Waving guns around didn’t hurt either.

I feel like the “off the Bengals” part of that statement needs more emphasis. If you smoke your way off of the freaking BENGALS, that’s saying something.
