this is what you’ll see.
Now that’s what blowing up a play looks like. And you can’t help but be impressed with the casual way he picks up the loose ball.
Really, I’m fine if the NFL wants to grant Clowney a waiver and let him turn pro now. Totally.
I was JUST watching this. The most dominating single play I think I’ve ever seen. Just wicked.

He is one hell of a football player. Great fun to watch but awful to play against.

Let’s hope Ray can step his game up … we need him.

Ir the SEC and NCAA has any sincerity about player safety they will force #7 to move up a level, or suspend him for the 2013 season. Seems I remember him playing the entire 60 minutes like that against us in October.

They could at least grant us 12 men on offense to better protect our quarterback.

Reese Davis kept yammering about how the SEC dominance was done (about 5 minutes into the second half). Then Georgia slammed the door on Nebraska and Carolina came back on Michigan (starting with this play). Well Big Ten…there is always next year.

Anybody notice the mighty west is 0-2 in bowls and the weak east is 3-0.

I noticed that too.
The mighty west also went a dominating 7-7 against the weak east in the regular season.

I heard on ESPN a couple weeks ago that if Clowney went to the draft this year, he would be the #1 pick. I don’t doubt that for a second.

I think he’s the best player in the country by some distance, frankly.

The fact that he wasn’t at least in NYC as a Heisman finalist confirmed my lack of interest in the award.
Sure, I’d love to see a Georgia player win it, but other than that — who cares about the Heisman?

The Heisman exists to sell Nissan automobiles. And video games. Beyond that, it is twaddle.

I agree with the senator. The year they passed over Peyton Manning to give the award to Charles Woodson for doing about half of what Champ Bailey could do is the year I stopped caring. It’s nothing more than a beauty contest voted on by people who rely on SportsCenter to educate them on what’s happening in college football.

That was a tremendous play, obviously. How bad is it that my first thought after I saw it was that a Georgia player would have been flagged, ejected, and suspended for it?

Congrats to the Big Ten on another outstanding bowl season (2-5).

With no obvious QB next year, he’s about as guranteed a number 1 draft choice next year as there have been in the last 20/25 years.

I’ve been thinking about this since the Lattimore injury / UGA played Clowney this year (where he ran circles around our LT). Shouldn’t the NFL make a rule that a first team all-american talent can go pro if they so choose? What else do these exceptional players have to prove in College and what is the drawback of allowing 4-5 players / year leave as Sophmores. I feel like Lattimore should have been allowed to leave b/f a tackler blind to him blew out his knee again. And what is the justification for Clowney playing another year. Please don’t tell me he isn’t physically mature enough for the NFL.
