Eight months. Eight freakin’ months ’til we get more college football. Obama ought to declare today a national day of mourning.
The only redeeming feature of the day is that the new season of Justified starts tonight.

LSUFreek was correct in his prediction
That never gets old. LSUFreek is a genius!
Downton Abbey started too.
I’m a little disappointed we finished behind ND and Corch, but it’s hard to complain about top 5.
What was up with the Musburger hate? “Cooper can run by you, just ask the Georgia Bulldogs.” “McCarron to Cooper, the combination that beat Georgia.” I think every who watched the game (maybe he only saw a highlight reel) knows the studs up front beat Georgia… barely. Either way, it was a much better showing than that gifted ND team put up last night. Every time I heard Cooper’s name I was waiting for another shot. I thought we might be redeemed when, seeing how the great ND was being abused, he mentioned, “If Alabama is doing this to ND, how good must…Texas A&M be!” *sigh*
In fairness, he wasn’t thinking clearly. His mind was still stuck on McCarron’s girlfriend.
NSD is just a month away, then we really get into the silly season of hoping for no arrests and complaining about mid-week non-conference college baseball.
I’m going to avoid the rush and start hoping for no arrests right now.
and as if to punctuate the indignity of the long, long off-season, the general assembly convenes next week.
Thanks for cheering me up.
The football mags come out in June. So there is that.
Post game Saban mentioned that UGA was 5 yards away from being in Miami and that his Bama team needed to get a lot better in their league. I think that is the kinda praise I enjoy from a coach like him.
I saw heard that too and felt like he was saying we deserved to be ranked 2ND or at least above ND.
In re: ‘Justified’: It’s a given the show will be better than last night’s game, too.
Last night was the season preview, as Bama went all Raylan Givens on that Irish ass..
There is still National Signing Day and spring games. All is not lost yet!
