To know a man’s heart

How come none of you genius amateur psychiatrists who just knew Richt deliberately threw the Florida game so he could engineer a multi-million dollar buyout on his way to the sunny shores of Florida have offered up similar insights about Charlie Strong’s embarrassing loss to Kansas?

Only Richt was evil, cheating us out of our pre-ordained Natty.

What bothered me so much about the disaster that was the 2015 WLOCP was that Richt was admitting to himself and everyone that he had no clue how to fix what was ailing the team, and that it would take a blind Hail Mary for the team to be competitive.

Meanwhile, UGA straight-up gives Florida a touchdown because Reggie Davis backpedals trying to field a punt inside his own 10, then fumbles it. Me, instead of “hey, who knows, Bauta might get nuts with it” as a coaching strategy, why not “hey, Reggie Davis really shouldn’t be returning punts”? That’d be a good place to start, no?

(note for the Kirby haters that the next coaching staff also allowed Davis to screw his team royally on special teams too)

The most worrisome detail about that story is that someone who is entertained by the Jerry Springer Show can command a multi million dollar salary.

While Jerry Springer isn’t my cup of tea, I know some very quality people that like to watch the show when they are feeling down. It helps them realize that misery is a matter of degree, and that now matter how bad they think their life might be, at least they will never be as screwed up as the dinguses on the Jerry Springer Show.

Because we don’t really give a damn about Texas and Charlie Strong. I’d say it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Charlie saw Richt’s maneuver and copied it. Those coaches seem to be a pretty good at copying what works at other programs.

I have it on personal authority from a guy that manages a secret server, that Charlie Weiss has a private newsletter on it called “The Tuna Report” that has a step by step program called “How to Make Bank on your Buyout”. There are coaches all across the football coaching landscape that have subscribed to this newsletter. INCLUDING both Richt and Strong!!!! AND the NCAA knows about yet does nothing!!!

While slightly of topic of throwing a game my theory on the uf debacle was that the staff was afraid of the uf pass rush. After watching film the staff felt the ol couldn’t handle the rush and that Lambert was scared of getting hit or at the least preformed poorly when pressured. Bauta was more physical of the qbs therefore be would be more apt to take the inevitable hits from the uf front 7. They started Bauta out of a last resort. After watching the ol “progress” over the last yr and a half i feel stronger about that assessment.

Seems like they just recycled the CMR article from last year and just replaced Mark Richt with Charlie Strong.

Maybe coaches do copy others, Richt deliberately throwing that game and Kirby followed by throwing away the 2016 season?

Ah the good old “Grassy Knoll” guys are back again. Why would anybody having a multi-million dollar contract resign and lose the buy-out. Also Mark Richt had not signed the contract. If you want to blame anybody for the buy out blame McDoofus. He paid Richt off because he knew that firing him and not honoring the unsigned contract would have totally and completely split the Bulldawg Nation. It has been bad enough anyway. In the words of our just past election, “It’s over, put on your big boy pants and get over it”. This goes for both sides. Go Dawgs and Go Kirby.
