Maybe I should have cued up some Elvis in honor of the team arriving in his town today for the start of bowl week.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

Loved Kublanow’s hunting story:
*He told the story of going hunting with fullback/snapper Glenn Welch the day after the TaxSlayer Bowl after his freshman season. He sat in a deer stand in rainy, frigid weather with his body sore. It wasn’t much fun.
“Thirty-minutes went by and I was like, ‘All right, I’m done,’” Kublanow said.*
I know lots of people love hunting, but it only makes sense to me if you’re really hungry and can’t get to a store to buy something.

I get the blues and ribs downtown, and Tunica just down the road but dang man, Graceland is what stands out about Memphis. I know The Man has moved on but that is one great tour. You just can’t miss Graceland guys, you might stir up the kharmic bitches in the area, and we don’t need anything else working against us!
