I love the way the court system keeps pretending Harvey Updyke gives a shit about repaying his almost $800,000 in restitution fees. It’s so cute!

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Awesome, so if he holds on to a payment of something around $200.00 a month, he’ll have that sucker paid off in around 300 years.

How much taxpayer money has been wasted on prosecuting this guy? I’d think the citizens of Alabama would rather see him deported.

At $200 per month, no interest, it’ll take about 330 years.

If the NCAA had been responsible for prosecuting Harvey, he probably would have been found not to have done anything wrong. Maybe an improper phone call to Finebaum, max.

Dang! Heart issues, head injury, flooding? It’s almost as if God is taking vengeance for Auburn. Perish the thought.

I don’t think Auburn people care if he pays restitution. I think they probably would have preferred to having him barred from ever attending another Bama sporting event held in the state.

He’s stupid but not stupid enough to show up at an Auburn sporting event…(is he?). I think his punishment should be HAVING to attend Auburn sporting events, pep rallies, classes and watering holes.
