Between Tommy Tuberville returning to the state to weigh a run for governor and Malzahn hiring Al Borges as an analyst, it’s starting to feel like 2004 all over again.
All that’s left for Tubs to do is to name Bobby Lowder finance chairman and put Pat Dye in charge of media relations.
Gonna need a new acronym for the offense. The HUNHGC – Hurry Up No Huddle Gulf Coast.

The Alabama governor, the house speaker, and the chief justice have all been removed from office in the past year.
That’s a hat trick of corruption even Louisiana hasn’t achieved.
Aside from intervening in football matters, how much worse would he be?

Roy Moore, from what I understand, is seriously considering a run for governor himself. Kind of squaring the circle…

FWIW Don Siegelman wasn’t guilty of anything. He was railroaded. I’m really ashamed of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals for not reversing his conviction. Being the Governor of Alabama isn’t a very healthy thing to do. How many have been run off one way or another in the last few years?

I hear Lowder is trying to persuade Bobby Petrino to run for Governor of Alabama; even sent a plane with an emissary to talk to him on the QT.
