I’m trying to picture the reaction from Greg McGarity if he was asked to approve a second raise in three months for an assistant coach. Luckily for Tray Scott, that’s not a problem.
Georgia football defensive line coach Tray Scott’s pay has gone up for the second time this offseason.
Scott received a $45,000 pay increase that took effect Feb. 27 and another for $200,000 that kicked in on April 1 that brings his compensation to $1 million annually, according to information obtained Thursday by the Athens Banner-Herald in an open records request.
The only member of the staff making more than that is Schumann. Scott’s earned it and Kirby knows it.
How many other programs do you think made overtures Scott’s way over the past couple of years?
