Tosh the Intern

Leave it to Nick Saban to describe the job of the guy who was named the 2010 Rivals.com Recruiter of the Year, made $350,000 a year as an assistant coach at Washington and is the latest addition to the multitude in Tuscaloosa as “… an intern that helps us some in recruiting”.

Even though he’s not a Throwin’ Samoan or nearly as pretty, this intern throws the A just like Bert’s #super-hot wife

      Welcome to the Semi-pro league.
“Entering this recruiting cycle, Saban had landed the No.1 class according to Rivals.com in five of the last six years — slacking off with only the No. 5 class in 2010 — and after expressing his displeasure with how the 2013 season ended on the field, Saban turned right around and landed what may be the best class he’s ever brought to Alabama.”
Slick Nick won the crystal at Alabama 2009,2011,2012 with a semi-pro coaching philosophy that no one has brought to college since the Bear put players on schollys so opposing teams would not use them against him. There’s a New Bear in town that is willing and more than able to stretch the rules and skirt ethics to win. Maybe we just need to get a “little bear” ourselves. Not.
      “Well, I said to myself
“I know what I want, I gotta get a little bear some way”
I heard a loud voice, it said a few words
It said, “You gotta take a chance an’ you gotta pay, boy”

He’s been the pride of NYC for a loooong time now. Used to catch him regularly when I lived there a few years back.

He was good friends of my oldest brother when I was a kid.

I was gonna say saban stretches the rules a little more each day, but this is f-ing ridiculous!

What’s ridiculous? Saban is landing a top recruiter for his team, calling him “an intern” and getting Washington to pay for it. That’s just SEC football in the new millennium, isn’t it?
