“There certainly is a path to Atlanta for the Gators.”

Forget it, Matt.  It’s the SEC East.

“We have everything in front of us,” junior tailback Matt Jones said. “We have next up Missouri, Georgia, Vanderbilt and South Carolina. We’ve got to win four games straight. They’re all beatable teams.”

The catch is that so is your team.

I am always afraid that Florida might find lightening in a bottle. It scares me to think “what if they figure it out and start rolling?” It’s true that those are all very winnable games for them, but happily, Georgia poses the biggest challenge to this delusion. Here’s hoping that Missouri kicks them in the mouth…because we don’t want them coming into Jax on a positive note.

Have you even watched them the past few years? They have been infected with that same disease we used to catch in the early 2000s in Jax. Go back and actually watch that game against LSU…..it was freakin hilarious.

Well said u.d. Jones’s words are uncomfortably accurate mathematically. LSU and bama have given us a lot of help. But we’ll need to take care of business in JAX.

I wish both UF and Mizzou could lose Saturday. At least one of them will.

I am not rooting for FU. Go Mizzou.
I feel it makes us look better if MZ rebounds and does a number of the gators. That is what I am hoping for anyway.

They do certainly still have a path to Atlanta…

Right up I-75 to the Chick fil a bown on New Years Eve… if they’re lucky

The Peach Bowl is one of the top 6 bowls now and will match up highly ranked teams in the years it isn’t hosting a semifinal, so I think FLA would be very, very lucky to get to the Peach Bowl.

I ain’t got time worry about Florida, yet…I am too concerned about Greg McGarrity dragging his feet so Gurley can’t play. Jesus Greg, who cares about what could happen if you play him…why are you keeping Gurley off the field like this?

Another example of arrogance and nepotism at Butts-Mehre.

    • The rest of the SEC is afraid the UGA defense will finally get it together.

Except for Mizzou, they are past the worry and into the reality.

Let’s play some more D tomorrow.

What if they play TG and the Dawgs win out only to have the NCAA say on Dec 1 that TG should’ve sat 4 games? We would vacate those wins and someone else goes to Atlanta. What if the Dawgs win the next 3 without TG and the NCAA rules he should miss 4 games and he’s reinstated for the AU game with all the goals still in front of us?

      So true.

Our Athletic Department has been trash for about 30 years.

Well Matt…you do know that the Georgia locker room is VERY aware of what team Mr. Allen is a fan of right? Don’t think this WON’T be used as a rallying point…

The only path to Atlanta this gator team has is a connecting flight to some toilet bowl they will end up playing in, if the are lucky.
