South Carolina football players must be wondering what they’ve done. First their coach decides they’re too fragile to handle a little bit of cold weather, and now this.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
I would put the over/under on the F-bomb at 20. Assuming of course it was a quick pep talk.
What got my attention was this statement;South Carolina takes the next two weeks off before resuming spring workouts on March 17.
Am I reading this right? They had one practice and now take the next two weeks off. WHAT?

Dean — I saw the same thing you did. Who has 1 practice (or even 2 since the first one was canceled) and then breaks for 2 weeks? I’m sure it is somehow Spring Break related, but why bother if that is the case? Maybe Spurrier already needed a break after seeing his team without Brinkley, Munnerlyn, E. Cook, Jared Cook, McKinnley, etc….That’s a lot of pretty good players on both sides of the ball to be losing from a team that wasn’t that good anyway. I’m sure Garcia has it all under control though. Go Dawgs!

Before the moti*******vational speech started, Bobby turned to the Spur and said, “What the **** are you doing in the middle of South ******* Carolina? I thought Lubbock was in the middle of no*******where. This ******* place is even worse!”
Bobby then turned to the SC players and hollered, “Let’s open with a little prayer!”
