“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
The only possible explanation is that LSU fans got together and block voted for Jarrett

…or Georgia fans did.
Thanks for those book-end pick-sixes in Baton Rouge, Jarrett.

Wonder where Lee would be on that list if Tolliver hadn’t caught that pass last Saturday.

I can’t believe that Lee is in the top 5. It’s hard not to jump to the conclusion that lots of votes were cast by people just watching the highlights of the LSU/Florida game. The only quarterbacks that I haven’t watched play at all this season are Masoli and Smith. I’d have neither of the LSU QBs in the top 8. In my opinion both are two one dimensional without being spectacular in that…well, dimension. I’m biased of course, but through half the season I think that Murray is in the top 4. Newton is special and in the college game I might take him over Mallett (depends on the offense and the players around him of course). Mallett’s in the top 4. And McElroy has quietly become, in my opinion, a pretty darn good college quarterback.
