Georgia Tech football: creating balance a decade from now

Alabama loses to South Carolina and Georgia Tech announces that it’s added the Tide onto its 2019 and 2020 schedules.  Coincidence?  I think not.

Besides, that sucker can always be Radakoviched in 2018.

I am sure it will break out on stingtalk that Alabama asked for 2019-2020 because they hoped Johnson would be retired by then.

With the recent dropping of Oregon, I’m not sure our fanbase has much to say on this issue. Just saying…

Is it true Alabama is getting two home games, one at Bryant-Denny Stadium and one at the Georgia Dome?

Somebody on this very blog commented a while back and I totally agreed… Nick Saban will be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in the near future. 2019 is a long time away friend. Hell, CMR might not even be retired by then. 😉

      No doubt.

My money is on Freddy Kitchens as the next HC at Bammer.

Who knows, we may get the opportunity to watch Kirby Smart faceplant as the Crimson Tide’s next head coach. He wasn’t “Touched By The Bear”, but he was “Touched By Saban”, and that’s gotta be just as good, right?

If current trends continue, Georgia State may be the premiere football program in the city of Atlanta by 2019.

+1 Love him or hate him Bill Curry can coach some football. If we are going to play a Gayturd schedule I think we should keep the money at home and schedule GA Southern, Valdosta State, and when they get big enough Ga State. Why should we help Idaho out. LSU always plays their directional schools for that reason.

Tech goes home and home with BYU and Bama while we drop Oregon and opt for Charleston Southern and that ilk. Oh yeah, that is great stuff. Not.

Let me know when Tech starts playing a conference schedule like ours and we’ll talk.

Really Bob? If it makes you feel any better we have a home and home scheduled with Bama in 2012-13!

Seriously, who would want to see more than two good home games a year? I don’t even see why we should spend the money to pay directional schools to come to Athens. We could play the scout team, count that as a victory, keep the extra profits to buy ourselves a trophy, and tailgate with the other few dozen people who don’t really want to like to see a whole season of D1 football. That way if you have someone with a satellite dish at your tailgate you could see some good games around the noon hour.

That recovery issue from the monster 3 hour flight back from Colorado will kick in any day now and we can blame future losses on that.

This is all moot seeing as how the world is going to end in 2012!
