Damn. This makes the Bowden-Fischer deal at FSU look like a summer bromance.

I am amazed that the Big East has found a way to make one of its football programs interesting. Way to go!

I love it when good Christian men like Bill Stewart turn out to be so good and so, well, CHRISTIAN, when the chips are down.

Bill’s agent wishes Bill had gone “off the record” with this one.

Sounds to me like he did. Or, at least, he thought he did. He just didn’t do it with a reporter who was worthy of that trust.

Damn unworthy reporter. Who can you trust these days to spread dirt on your enemies? Backstabbing liberal media I tell ya…

First thing I learned at the Grady College was that “off the record” is a big deal. It’s about your ethics. If you’re going to go back on it, you’d better make damn sure it’s a big, huge story because you’re going to have a lot of trouble ever getting an interview subject to trust you again, if ever. The guy’s got himself a huge story, for sure, but I’d be willing to bet other coaches are going to remember his name.

Sounds like they need to serve beer at practice and hug things out, much less the stadium during games.
