Envy and jealousy, Gator snark edition

David Paschall knocks out a one-liner that made me laugh out loud.

The Gators would have led the nation in most offensive plays last season were it not for the other 119 Bowl Subdivision teams…

Boom MF, indeed.  No wonder Charlie Weis doesn’t want to talk about his Gainesville experience.

Instead of the old”Fire So-and-So”, lets start a “Bring Back So-and-So” blog site. Suggestion: “Bring Back Charlie’s Daughter” or “Bring Back Boom-Oh!, He’s Still Here?” blogs.

    What say you, Mike?

Oh the pain the pain, at least after two years of Adickio and one of Wiseass maybe we can be competitive and not so inept …. geez …

They’ll have a decent O-line; but the new OC will have to find receivers and a quality RB. I don’t see that happening this year with a new system and a QB with little to no experience. I see another 5 or 6 loss season and the beginning of doubt for Coach Boom. They’ll give him 3 years; but he better win big in year 3 or he’ll be looking for work. I hope his seat gets really hot!!!!

I don’t think he will lose over three. Hopefully, one of those will be UGA, but the Gators will be more competitive than 5 losses. I think they will progress competitively with us this year and I don’t feel we will suffer over 3 losses as well.

I also loved not seeing a single Gator on Espn’s top 25 players list (can’t recall the last season that would have happened). 5 players from UGA were ranked, 3 of which on defense too. Boom is right.

If that’s last year’s list by Chris Lowe it means nothing this year. Boykin and Glenn won’t be here next year. They may have a freshman RB who will be their equivalent to our projections for Marshall or Gurley. Their O line may end up better than ours.

Thats why I wrote that to a post that is 100% concerned with last year’s statistics and coaching staff and has nothing to do with the upcoming season. Your insight was masterful regardless.
