So, how much pleasure should we take out of Georgia getting a verbal commitment from a kid who:
- is a Georgia Tech legacy;
- plays at a premium position in the 3-4 defense, which both Georgia and Georgia Tech deploy;
- responded to a slowdown in contact from Georgia by saying he “really wasn’t a Georgia fan” ;
- and then, when contacted by Rodney Garner after that, felt reassured enough to put Georgia back at the top of his list?
Plenty, I think. (By the way, dumbass, does Musa Smith’s name ring a bell?)
Don’t forget Mo-Mass Senator.

If he’s #1 OLB on UGA’s board, then what does that say about Rueben Foster/Nkemdiche

Foster is an ILB. But yes, NKemdiche is likely “off” the board to the coaches

I thought NKemdiche was a DL?

Foster = ILB
Nkemdiche – DL
Mustaffa is an OLB in 3-4 or DE in 4-3

“‘I’m a Bulldog and I’m really excited to get in there,’ Mustafaa said. ‘I can’t wait to be a part of a great defense and I think there is going to be a lot of winning going forward. I can’t wait to play out there in front of 80 or 90 thousand fans. That is one of the best things about playing football and I know we won’t be playing in front of empty seats at Georgia.‘”

Now that’s some quality trolling on GA Tech there. This kid will fit in just fine in Athens.

After wearing gold all his life, I’m sure putting on a red and black shirt for the first time felt a little strange… but I’m also sure that it felt GREAT. Naim, if you ever end up reading this, the Bulldog Nation would absolutely LOVE for you to post some video of you cleaning your closet and disposing of any leftover Georgia Tech gear. That could be the highlight of my offseason.
