Not all out of all in

Fess up – you’d be a little disappointed if that weren’t the case, right?

I’m real curious how they’re spinning the pitch.

  2. Of course. It is no fun to play a team every year that sucks at CF.

Sweet. Maybe they can get Auburn saddled with a few NCAA violations as a nice parting gift.

  4. Taylor must have naked pictures of Pat Dye and Jay Jacobs, the password to Mike Slive’s computer, AND know where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. Good God.

Trooper Taylor’s picture is in the dictionary beside the word “shady”. He HAS to be the “bagman” and know where all the bodies are buried because he sure as hell can’t coach.

Which one cuts the checks and which one hands them to the players?

Coach Garner continued to recruit for us after Coach Donnan was let go and we brought in Greg Blue, Thomas Davis, Robert Geathers, Fred Gibson, David Pollack, and D.J. Shockley, if I recall correctly.

I thought all the coaches had been terminated. The report I remember said they were all gone and could reapply. If that’s the case, what?

Auburn is a football program with a lot of “ifs” in its future.
If I was a recruit, I would be very guarded about a desire to play on the plains.
Probation. How long? What kind? Scholarship reductions. A new coach and staff. Will Luper and Taylor be retained on that staff? A new head coach might have to think long and hard about those two coaches with their history, in particular if they are named as violators in the rules infractions.

Honestly it tells you all you need to know about their athletic department. I’d be surprised if they get a good head coach, because it’s quite clear that the HC is not in control of the program. Somebody else (*cough* Lowder *cough*) is. It’s why Tuberville was run out of town, and it’s why Trooper and Luper are being retained. They’re going to bring in another “YES man” and put the staff in place that Bobby Lowder wants. Jay Jacobs is simply doing the bidding of those with the money.
