The First Amendment is alive and well in the Southeastern Conference.

There’s some Mike Slive wisdom that’s about to be put to the test.

Finebaum: Robert from Iowa is probably as well known as any caller we have. We have Darryl from Georgia. We have a guy in Ohio. . . .

Someone asked me the other day: “The first week (back on the air) are you going to have (Nick) Saban and Mark Richt and Kevin Sumlin?” And my thinking was, “No.”

It will then be five, six months since we have spoken to callers and I hope the first five callers are Robert, Legend, Tammy, Jim from Tuscaloosa and I-Man. To me, that’s what I’m looking forward to getting back to — not to listening to a coach say little about the upcoming football season. We’ll get plenty of that.

Can’t say I blame him for that.  It’s what’s buttered his bread, so to speak.  But it will be amusing to see what happens if heads butt over the show’s content.

I’ve edited this a couple times. But I freaking HATE that ESPN is going to export this stereotypical garbage to the rest of the flippin’ country. I’m glad that Finebaum is lining his pockets with this crap, but the rest of us have to live with the negative and false image it portrays of the south and southerners while he gets rich off of it. His show has so little to do with football that it’s not even funny. He’s Jerry Springer and Maury Povich, he just uses the game instead of a paternity test to get into the fistfights.

Where else but America and ESPN do meth-heads get their own call-in show?

And really, does single host call-in work on TV? Format will change quickly once ratings tank.

Me too brother, it has been the highlight of this off-season to for me. Just knowing that garbage is off the air and I can listen to a national CFB program for that time slot. I don’t care if he is on ESPN, I have lots of choices at home and it will never be that jackass and his band of retards.

Forget the 1st Amendment. I wish he’d take the 5th Amendment and STFU!

This is ESPN trying to get in on the Duck Dynasty and Honey Boo Boo act with a call-in show. I’ll have none of it.

Haters will hate…..If you are supposely concerned about what someone, who doesnt know u, might think of u based off of what someone else states, then u r a hater…Just stop for a minute and try to absorb what u r saying and then u will realize how stupid u sound….I am a prominent caller to Finebaum and the voice of the Dawgs on his show….I also maintain a personal friendship with the likes of people like Jarvis Jones and Aaron Murray…..I also have forgotten more about UGA football than most of you whiners will ever know….Quit crying, get your thumb out of your mouth and learn to be able to tell the difference between reality and entertainment….Good Heavens!!!! Oh and Go Dawgs!! Darriel from Columbus
