ESPN The Magazine asked 92 current college football players a bunch of questions. The results are fascinating.
For example, 63% of the players questioned don’t play for the same head coach who recruited them. Now you know why you’ll never see a liberalized transfer rule for players if their head coach leaves the program.
That may also explain why Todd Graham led the voting for Last Coach You’d Ever Want To Play For. (To be fair, Junior gave Graham a run for his money.)

I’ve always been fascinated by how narrow the focus is on PED’s in the national conscious. Baseball but not football; Cycling but not basketball. Half these guys think someone on the team is taking PEDs, yet besides Kolton Houston I can’t remember the last steroid scandal in College. Seems hard to believe the size of these players is all natural.

Thought the PEDs answer at 49% who think their teammate(s) take them was astounding what with random testing occurring.

My favorite question is the one about Graham and Kiffin. Poetic justice right there. But Meyer being one of the best coaches just begs the question, what % of those survey participants have had a run-in with the law?
