So there you are at a Rolling Stones concert, digging Mick and Keef, grooving to Charlie Watts’ rock steady beat, rocking out to “Brown Sugar”, “Bitch” and other classics, maybe even shakin’ to “When The Whip Comes Down”, when you accidently bump into the guy next to you, turn to apologize…
and discover that he’s Nick Saban.
Yeah, that would be a little strange.
Mark Richt has lost control of Nick Saban’s offseason focus.

And then, Mark Richt lost control of the Samba Groove and Nick’s Cape

this little factoid about Saban absolutely floored me:
“He eats the same lunch — a salad of iceberg lettuce with turkey and tomatoes — every day because he doesn’t want to waste time trying to decide what to eat.”

You know, the same story as with Einstein who only stocked the closet with the same black suits: less strain on the little things. And no, I am not putting Nicky on a level with Albert.

Yeah well anyone that makes 5.3 mil a year and has to decide on lettuce, turkey and tomato for lunch every day cause he ain’t “got time for that shit” is blowing a whole lot of smoke up a collective ass.

Nick Saban appears when “Sympathy for The Devil” is played? Stereotype meets reality. What happens if you spin that record backwards?

Richt’s a much better coach than he gets credit for, in large part because the press plays up his character at the expense of his coaching ability. I think Saban’s a better person than he gets credit for, in large part because the press plays up his coaching at the expense of his character. I honestly think to be great at their profession for any length of time, you have to have both. Which isn’t to say either one of them is perfect.

Little Nicky……he is something else. Has a great son, who was my Nicholas’s buddy Nick down in Tuscaloosa. I could not stand the site of him the day he arrived at Bear Bryant’s Hotel, (Only a 4 star, but the best in Tuscaloosa. I thought he was a liar. Little Nicky is doing very well monetarily. Hope it’s not pride or greed that brings him down. Us DAWGS will do that in December before the pride and greed gets him.

Anybody who still prefers iceburg lettuce in the 21st century may have mental issues. Just saying. If I made his money, it’s all organic spinach, bibb, romaine, etc. for me.
Come to think of it, that’s what we eat now at my house.
