They still love you in Montana.

Deadspin gives us this post about Facebook’s compiled county-by-county data on which Top 25 college football teams have the most “likes” across the nation. Take a look at this enlarged map and tell me what you think about those two outlier counties in Stewart Mandel’s state of mind.

Sure, it’s a small sample size, but we only need 100 fans, right?

One thing I take from that map is that maybe Texas A&M’s fan base, which is VERY large and rabid, is far more distributed than Texas’ fan base, or possibly they just spend their time doing something other than “Liking” stuff on Facebook.

There are communists, gators, terrorists and other obvious signs of un-American activity in Jasper Co. Wouldn’t surprise me to find out the ACLU has an office in Monticello. They live among us….

While I have no animous for them, I thought the FSU was chuckle-worthy.

“Eastern Pennsylvania breaks for Notre Dame, even though other states in the largely Catholic Northeast aren’t interested.”

And one butt-ugly guy “described the state as Paoli (a suburb of Philadelphia) and Penn Hills (a suburb of Pittsburgh) with Alabama in between.”

How many think, since this is based on likes, searches and such, that the Hernandez case swayed the NE to UF blue?

Glascock and Quitman County would like to know what this ‘interweb’ that you speak of is.

Well to be fair to Fsu, while in large numbers all over the country they’ll never be a majority.
