This is why you schedule cupcake openers.

Florida suspends six players for its game today against Toledo, including savior of the passing game Loucheiz Purifoy.

Of course, the downside to games like that are that sometimes the best laid plans of men go terribly awry.

Does Toledo gave a chance against the Gators? I read Mr Connely’s preview of Toledo and it sounds like they are a decent MAC team.

NDSU is going to have trouble finding quality FBS teams to play in the future. Too bad for them because they need those big pay days.

Nah…they can find plenty of quality teams. K-state is hardly quality this year without Klein. Guy was a player but still inexcusable to lose to FCS.

KSU paid them $350,000 to beat them which almost covered the yearly salaries of the entire coaching staff

Toledo won 9 games last year. The MAC plays tough OOC. Example from Thursday night when BGSU clobbered the high hopes of Tulsa. I still expect the Gators to win with defense, but if their offense is as sluggish as they were last year, this one will be close enough to have Dawgs drooling for an upset instead of a near miss like they had against the Ragin’ Cajuns last year.

Herbie’s on Ganeday calling for the Toledo upset…which probably means UF wins by 3 TDs or more.
