“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Some of us had high hopes for Bostick. I was impressed with his high school film. Just goes to show you never know what’s going on behind the scenes. It couldn’t be just injuries, you would think.

Agree. In the end it doesn’t matter – he’s gone. However, I heard good things about his potential, so I’m sorry to see it end up this way. Our D was thin to begin with and just got a little more dehydrated.

Is this attrition or roster management?

I think it could. Bostick was pushing for playing time before he even got on campus. So it was obvious that he’s not a kid content to wait his turn. Unfortunately for him, he’s been hurt and is buried on what is likely the best linebacking corps in the SEC.

Paris Bostick?
I thought that was the name of an early theory on photosynthesis from the 19th century.

At 6’1, 217 I hope that was a typo.

Don’t know current tally, but we were 88 or 89 after signing day. Nice to have the shoe on the other foot for a change.

I wonder where he’ll eventually wind up?
He didn’t steal anything, so Auburn’s not in his future.

And (presumably) he didn’t sexually assault anyone…

Maybe he’ll head back to Tampa because it’s too cold north of Orlando.

of course, it wouldn’t be unusual for the Senator to post an update tomorrow morning announcing Bostick’s return to the fold.

That thought has crossed my mind.

Given that he has never played and has basically had to sit out a year due to injury, I doubt most good D-1 teams are too worried about him. Based off of his quotes in the article, then he may or may not be very happy going to some crap team.

Maybe he should stay and try to beat someone out. I like that nothing is being given to guys. Earn the PT, kid.
