No, and it’s not even close.

This year’s Alabama’s offense, which hasn’t even settled on a starting quarterback yet, is almost as good as an offense that featured not one but two Heisman Trophy winners?  Wut?

Even Junior hasn’t made a claim like that.

DawgPhan beat me to the comment about Bleacher Report. Henry has ONE Game where he runs well, in a bowl game loss, and suddenly he’s great? Maybe he will be but to compare him to Bush and White is a stretch.

Yeah, Sallee has truly defined overreaching here. I agree that Yeldon is one of the better backs in the country. But to argue that Yeldon/Henry eclipse Bush/White is a bit much. I predict they will be the second best RB tandem in the conference this year.

Also, O.J. Howard’s 14 catches last year is enough to solidify him as one of the best TEs in the country and perhaps the best Kiffin has ever coached. Obviously. I think the kid had 6 stars, so who can possibly dispute his early election to the college football hall of fame?

This confirms what I’ve always thought–that the 2005 USC team wasn’t really all that good.
