“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Seems like a pretty normal sideline happy fest, glad the refs did not see it, Ekeler mighta been charged with targeting. Just one of the weird things that happen at Auburn.

Have him get CMR as fired up as he is.

We only need one guy on the sideline that fired up.

Indeed. Some of the fantasy FB-leaning pundits in our ranks don’t understand that the wildman coach thing works if at all only with assistants. Exhibit A: failed HC-as-wildman experiments such as Muschamp, Pellini, Orgeron, Zook, et al.

No doubt. Poise under duress is seriously undervalued by football fans.

I like Ekeler and the job he’s done with our defense and coverage teams.
We could use some of this intensity on the offensive staff.

I think we need to toughen McGraw up, damn man. Boys going to have fun in the film room with that. 🙂

Amen to that… our DB’s are powder puffs! Their tackling is prime evidence! When was the last time we had a Greg Blue punisher back there putting the fear of God into WR’s?

Greg Blue would be ejected for targeting.

He hit Rico just right to give him a stinger?

That’s nothin. Just think what our D assistants would do if they could get their hands on Schotty. CMR stands next to Schotty all the time to protect him, not help with the playcalling 😉
